Very Nice!

10/10 5/5 even if the voice sounded a little too deep, haha, almost on the verge of weird. The chorus kinda sounds like a blend of Weird Al and Blue Oyster Cult.

sorohanro responds:

He he ... thanx ...
The track is supposed to remind also of Barry White (the King of Love), Kenny G (the King of Porn Groove) and all blend of tasteless pop crap love songs that poisoned minds all over the world ...

I've personally commented you on this

And I gotta do it again. I love the sound of this over all, and I've heard a lot of jazz. I mean, really, that 7/8 is very, very, cool and definitely gives it that little extra *mph*! It's too bad you really didn't write this down, because a few guys and myself are getting together two local jazz bands, a big band, and a smaller sized, and I wish we could get this played out, substitute jazz flute for the kaval, probably. It's gotta be pretty hard to top this!

sorohanro responds:

Ok ok , I'll write it down for you ... it's not that hard after all ... :))
Thanx for review.

Actually,

It's not the THEME persay, it's called....well, I forget it NOW, it's like Dawn something or New Hope I dunno. But I like your version.

This is the third I've looked at from you

And I'm in awe. This is some very top notch stuff. I simply must know...what do you use?

Developer responds:

I use FLStudio :D
Too bad it doesn't have drum banks like in Reason, but oh well...
I used to it)
If you mean the orchestral instruments, then I use some of my samples. ;D

Very Nice

Light on the ears, and nicely played piano.

I won't knock you for loops

My only knock is in blending of sounds. The loops ARE meant to be used. But I sometimes add an effect to them so that they are completely original. It can make it sound like a whole different thing.

I love that

haha, You can just sit down and give a beat for about 40 something seconds, and I STILL wanted to hear more. I think that the Pop, which normally people try and avoid, actually added to the music. Sweet job, and great track.

Pretty Damn Good

"You see a helicopter approach a middle eastern city, touch down, then at 00:21. the troops start rolling out." That was MY vision during the song. But in the real world, don't beat yourself up on the lead, haha. It sounded well done, and there was that little beat in the back that flowed, as well as the last chord of that intro into the solo previously mentioned. Very nice.

Thanks very much man. Appreciate it!\m/

Considerably Good

Ok, I, in particular, am definitely a fan of the stacking effect/peeling effect of tracks and instruments, so good points on that. Brilliant melody, easy to listen to, and pretty good lyrics. Plus, you have a hell of a singing voice, something I wish I'd have, haha. The only problem I could find, and it's more of a personal thing, is that whatever you were doing with yer voice, applying a filter, using a different mic, I dunno, it sounded just a tad bit too filtered.

Very Interesting

I liked how it started out with just that strumming and you slowly added a little bit of background effect, I always love to hear great stacking like that, I definitely can feel both the Turkish influence and the Japanese influence, so good points on that. And the "hwua!" stuff in the background plays out nicely, adding to the piece rather than taking away from the main melody. Actually, I could see this in something like Rise of Nations, haha. Very well done.

MaestroRage responds:

I'm glad you thought the hwua! screaming added to rather then take away, they were an area of debate with myself. I love the effect they have no the piece, yet at the same time due to the pieces somewhat quick nature, having something distract the listener for 2-3 seconds like that might throw them off track... still I think it worked out nicely!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!
